Monday 25 October
19.30 – 21.00 IWINETC Welcome Reception at the Ferreira Port Lodge.

Conference delegates are invited to plunge into the history of Port and uncover one of the most remarkable characters in the history of the Douro region, Dona Antónia Ferreira (1811-1896), affectionately popularized by her countrymen as “Ferreirinha”. A woman who became not only a symbol of steadfast entrepreneurship and Douro viticulture, but also an example of altruism and generosity towards those most in need.

The reception will feature cocktail dînatoire pairings with DOC wines from some the country’s finest regions, courtesy of Sogrape, leading wine growers and producers, together with traditional Portuguese music tunes.

09.00 – 17.30 Full day of conference talks with time to visit the exhibition area

Wednesday 27 October
09.00 – 13.00 Half day of conference talks with time to visit the exhibition area.
15.00 – 18.00 Visit the cultural district of Greater Portugal – WOW. Ticket to visit 2 of the 7 unique experiences at the World of Wine (WOW) courtesy of WOW.
