IWINETC 2024 will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Plovdiv Center is located in the heart of Plovdiv – 1 Mosaic Path, 4000 Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Getting to Plovdiv

Air

Plovdiv has its own international airport, Plovdiv Airport (PDV), which is located about 10 kilometers southeast of the city center. There are several airlines that fly to Plovdiv, including Ryanair, Wizz Air, and Bulgaria Air.There are direct flights to Plovdiv from several European cities, including London, Manchester, Frankfurt, and Vienna. f you are flying from a city that does not have direct flights to Plovdiv, you can fly to Sofia Airport (SOF) and then take a connecting flight to Plovdiv.

Train

Bulgaria has a well-developed railway network, and there are several train connections to Plovdiv from major cities in Bulgaria and Europe. From Sofia: There are direct trains from Sofia to Plovdiv every hour. The journey time is about 2 hours 30 minutes. How to get to Plovdiv by train from Sofia Airport: Take the metro from Sofia Airport to Sofia Central Station. The metro ride takes about 35 minutes and costs 1.20 EUR. At Sofia Central Station, take the train to Iskarsko Shose. The train ride takes about 20 minutes and costs 3-7 EUR. At Iskarsko Shose, transfer to the train to Plovdiv. The train ride takes about 1 hour and costs 3-7 EUR.

Car Rental

The distance from Sofia to Plovdiv is about 160 kilometers (100 miles). The journey time by car is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The route is well-signed and easy to follow. The main road from Sofia to Plovdiv is the E80 highway. The E80 highway is a toll road, so make sure to have the necessary tolls in advance. If you do not wish to rent a car then you a can book a transfer for around 70 EUR. For this option please contact us for details.
