Christian Bruyen

Christian Bruyen has been the president of The Marne Tourism Board for 14 years and vice-president of the Marne General Council in charge of tourism and environment.

As vice-president of the General Council, he launched the Marne tourism development strategy, aiming at focusing its financial investments on the main priorities : accomodation, biking, champagne, history, etc.

He also is a mayor of the City of Dormans and president of the Dormans tourism office. As mayor of Dormans, Christian is very much involved in historical tourism, especially in the First World War rememberance. He is in charge of the coordination of the Marne events for the centenary in the General Council.

Christian Bruyen is also president of the  Champagne Convention Bureau created by the General Council and the cities of Châlons, Epernay and Reims to promote MICE activities in the Marne.

He  is also a member of the board of the Montagne de Reims Natural Park and a member of the association in charge of the management of the Unesco candidacy for the Champagne area.
