He actively participates in the development of tourism policy in Małopolska, particularly in the area of cooperation with local governments, tourism entrepreneurs, and industry organizations.
He also focuses on developing tourism projects aimed at tourists from the Middle East, in particular from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia. Under his leadership, the Małopolska Tourist Organization (MOT) carries out activities promoting the region in these markets. The MOT's plans include further strengthening Małopolska's presence in Middle Eastern markets, as well as intensifying cooperation with Arab tour operators and organizing cultural events to attract these tourists.
Recently, Małopolska has been participating in Expo 2025 in Osaka, which was an opportunity to promote the region on the Japanese market and in other Asian countries.
He actively supports the implementation of national projects aimed at promoting Małopolska and developing tourism in the region. Under his leadership, the Małopolska Tourist Organization has implemented, among others, the “Train to Małopolska” project, as well as “Christmas Trees for Christmas,” in which Christmas trees were distributed. Grzegorz Biedroń also supported the initiative to break the record for Małopolska Hospitality, aimed at showcasing the hospitality of the region and its inhabitants. These projects are part of a long-term strategy to promote Małopolska, which aims to increase the region's tourist accessibility and strengthen its image on the domestic market.
For years, he has been involved in protecting the interests of the tourism industry. He strives to ensure that tourism is treated as an important sector of the economy both in Poland and internationally.
