After spending more than 25 years behind a microphone as a disc jockey, news and sports reporter and voice actor, I spent a few years as a real estate agent before launching WINEormous.com. I have spent my entire life around wine. My father was a hotel manager at two premier hotels in San Francisco and I grew up with fine wine served with meals. Shortly after launching the website I became a member of both the International Food Wine and Travel Writers Association and North American Travel Journalists Association. I am a tour operator as well as a blogger and have traveled extensively to gain more knowledge of the food, wine and travel industry. A former member of Toastmasters, I spoke at the 2012 International Wine Tourism Conference in Perugia, Italy on creating compelling writing.
