
Wojciech Giebuta

Wojciech Giebuta Sommelier, wine journalist, and oenotourism guide. He holds the International Higher Certificate in Wines and Spirits WSET. He has been professionally involved with wine since 1997. He has conducted wine-related training sessions for institutions such as the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University, Civitas University in Warsaw, as well as courses organised by the Wine House Club, with which he collaborates on a permanent basis. Between 2013 and 2023, he led workshops for students of the Intercultural Relations in Tourism programme at the Institute of Intercultural Studies of the Jagiellonian University. For over 20 years, he has been the director of Wine-Service – the first travel agency in Poland specialising in oenotourism, which organises several dozen wine-related journeys each year in Poland, across Europe, and also in both Americas, Africa, and Australia and New Zealand.
Between 1995 and 2000, he studied art history at the Jagiellonian University. Since 1994, he has held the qualifications of a licensed tourist guide in Krakow. He is currently affiliated with the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow, where he is preparing a diploma thesis concerning methods of assessing the tourism potential of Polish wineries (planned publication – autumn 2026).
