The 17th Annual International Wine Tourism Conference (IWINETC) has successfully concluded in Kraków–Małopolska, Poland (23–25 March 2026), reaffirming its position as the leading and longest runing global event for wine and culinary tourism professionals.
Bringing together more than 140 delegates from 26 countries, IWINETC 2026 once again delivered on its core pillars of Knowledge, Business & Networking. Attendees from across established and emerging “grape escape” destinations gathered to get fresh ideas, useful takeaways for professional and business development, exchange ideas, build partnerships and explore new opportunities in the evolving wine and culinary tourism sector.
In addition to the 2-day conference talk progtramme a key highlight of the event was the Wine Tourism Exhibition & B2B Workshop, which facilitated approximately 550 pre-scheduled meetings between buyers and suppliers. This structured business environment, combined with additional networking opportunities throughout the conference, enabled participants to develop meaningful commercial relationships and collaborations.
The programme also placed strong emphasis on experiential and networking activities, allowing delegates to engage with the host destination of Małopolska and further strengthen international connections.
Building on the success of IWINETC 2026, the organisers have announced the launch of a new event: the International Food Tourism Conference (IFOODTC).
The inaugural edition of IFOODTC will take place in Cambrils, Spain, 9–10 November 2026. The event will bring together professionals from across the food and culinary tourism sectors, applying the same proven format of conference sessions, B2B meetings and networking that has made IWINETC a benchmark event—this time with a dedicated focus on gastronomy.
IFOODTC aims to create a new international platform for knowledge exchange, business development and collaboration within the rapidly growing food tourism segment, further expanding the global community built through IWINETC.
Participants will have multiple ways to engage, including attending as conference delegates, exhibitors, B2B workshop participants, agents or speakers.
