I am a professional wine sommelier and chef, born and raised in Costa Rica. I have performed both front and back of house all over Costa Rica, NYC, Nicaragua, Torino, Bordeaux, Madrid and Barcelona where I am currently based.
Through my company Gastro Affair, a team of seasoned professional hedonists work relentlessly with the goal of showcasing the pleasures of wine tasting and food pairing. We are excited to introduce our latest offering: the Gastro Affair Enotourism Program! This program is designed for those who are passionate about wine, and want to immerse themselves in the world of wine culture, history, and production. During this program, you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most renowned wine regions in Catalunya and learn from local experts – more often than not the owners, growers and/or winemakers themselves – about the history, traditions, and techniques involved in wine making. You will also have the opportunity to taste and evaluate a wide range of wines.
