VILAVIN – winery for next century – is a unique full gravity-flow winery, the only one with six levels in Central Europe. Sustainable and sophisticated winemaking facility finished in 2019 and design providing it with not only all the benefits of gravity-flow winemaking but also the natural temperature control of cellar. Winery respecing artisanal traditions and local materiality represents a safe home for processing grapes from family owned vineyards radially surrounding it on three hills. Gravity – a source of clean energy – is an ancient concept, but still highly relevant to premium winemaking and it also brings significant energy savings.
