The Wine Roads Of Northern Greece is a network of wineries and selected hotels, restaurants and outdoor activities businesses that support and communicate the Greek cultural, gastronomic and wine tradition.
With a host of informative and entertaining events, the Wine Roads of Northern Greece play a leading role in supporting high quality Greek Wine, being at the same time a key element in the Greek Cultural Identity.
They offer visitors of the Northern Greek vineyard a total of 8 different wine routes, leading from Mount Olympus, home of the gods, Metsovo in Epirus to Byzantine Thessaloniki, and from the lakeside vineyards of Amyntaio to the Aegean playground of Chalkidiki, the Dionysiac heartland of Mount Pangaio and the delightful, distant Thrace.
Gerovassiliou Estate, Katogi Averoff winery & boutique hotel and Porto Carras Winery & Resort, are three of the distinctive jewels of Northern Greece’s Wine Roads, represented in IWINETC 2016.
