Robin Shaw

Robin is passionate about all things wine and tourism, having spent the past 20 years working to promote the Australian wine industry.  Her experience has been gained in a variety of roles which culminated in her most recent position as CEO of Adelaide Hills Wine Region.

In 2004, shortly after joining the wine industry’s peak body, Winemakers’ Federation of Australia as Tourism & Business Development Manager, Robin received a prestigious Winston Churchill Fellowship to undertake a world study tour of wine regions, investigating innovative wine tourism operations that could be applied to Australian wineries.  Her findings were incorporated into a series of national wine tourism workshops and industry resources. Through her consultancy business Wine Tourism Australia Robin works with wine and tourism businesses developing wine tourism strategies, sales and marketing plans, coaching and training programs and providing strategic advice.  She also leads wine tourism study tours to South Africa on demand. A dynamic and entertaining presenter, she is regularly invited to share her knowledge as a conference speaker and facilitator across Australia and internationally.
