Chuanfei Wang

Chuanfei Wang is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Comparative Culture of Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan. Her PhD dissertation covers wine culture in Japan, focusing on how Japanese wine producers, consumers and cultural intermediaries have incorporated Japan into the global wine world from the perspective of the sociology of culture. She is currently conducting ethnographic research on the wine culture in Japan; and, the comparative study of wine tourism as a cultural experience in Japan, Australia and China.
