The 12th annual IWINETC is the leading international education, business and networking event focused on wine and culinary tourism, and a must-attend for all industry professionals. Two attendance options are available: In person and online.

Health and safety of all IWINETC attendees is of paramount importance to IWINETC. The 2020 event will have a consistent and coherent programme of enhanced measures and protocols to ensure health and safety for the duration of IWINETC.

Getting to IWINETC

The 2 day conference will be held at the spacious Stazione Marittima Conference Hall, Molo Bersaglieri 3 – 34124 Trieste (Italy). 

By plane – Trieste Ronchi del Legionari airport is the nearest to the IWINETC venue but many more international flights land at Venice Marco Polo Airport.

By Car – From the A4 Venice / Trieste Highway (27km), take the ‘Sistiana / Trieste Centro’ exit and follow the directions to the center of Trieste. Once on the seafront, you will see the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall near Piazza Unità D’Italia.

By Train – From Trieste Central Railway Station (800m), you can enjoy a walk along the sea or take bus n. 8 or n. 30. The stop is in front of the Stazione Marittima Conference Hall.

Getting from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Trieste

Tricky task but here are the options:

  1. Bus

2.    Taxi
The taxi service is provided by Cooperativa Artigiana Radiotaxi. For info and bookings Tel. +39 041 59 64 (24-hour service).

3.    Chauffered Car Service
A chauffeur driven car service operates in the reserved lanes at Venice Marco Polo Airport.

From Venezia Santa Lucia or Venezia-Mestre you have several connections to Trieste railway station (https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html) The train station is in the city center – max 15 minutes walking from the main hotels or 5 minutes by taxi (+39 040 307730)

From Venezia Airport to Trieste there is a private service called GOOPTI You can reserve a seat in a shared minivan or decide to reserve a private run. It works really well and if you share the van it is going to be quite cheap. Here is the web site – https://www.goopti.com/en/
